Status of the three associations active in Tanzania, Namibia and Burkina Faso
Under the motto “Support Africa – Help for the forgotten” three projects for charity were supported.
1. Peace Matunda children’s orphanage in Tanzania
2. Help for forgotten children in Namibia –
Disabled and poor children Education
to make this possible.
3. small farmers in Burkina Faso support that
harvesting in the fields is possible again.
The Notzinger Christmas market is not commercial but committed to the common good. Most of the clubs from Notzingen were represented to cater for the many visitors and sell Christmas articles early the good cause. All proceeds were forwarded to the three associations as a donation – Terra Verde says thank you!
We are very happy that our club was chosen and thank you very much for that!
With a short speech I was allowed to thank all visitors for the friendly reception, the good atmosphere and a great donation for Terra Verde.
Notzingen (population around 3,700) is located in the eastern part of the Esslingen district in a valley between Kirchheim and Hochdorf. The village is 35 km away from the state capital Stuttgart and 50 km from Ulm.
