GROSSES BEWIRKEN

Every day we prove how help for self-help succeeds – at eye level. The highly motivated small farmers are ready to take their fate into their own hands and, like 200,000 before them, to free themselves from the hunger and poverty trap in Burkina Faso. With your donation you support a unique form of direct assistance. With further training

and the transport of stones help to help themselves. Solidarity communities of farmers and neighbours are created on their own initiative, which remain intact beyond the construction of the stone walls and stabilise the region. Together we double the yield of the crops, for a country whose population will double by 2050.

DONATIONS FOR SELF-HELP

Help for self-help, so that the hunger of small farmers ends

What happens with my donation?

Direct assistance on the ground

We control the use on site ourselves and permanently. To this end, our non-profit farmers’ organisation IDD has been documenting the use and intended purpose of the project in Burkina Faso – for 15 years. Even the small farmer plans his work with us every month in advance.

Help with a donation in kind

With a donation in kind you help us and the people in need directly and immediately. For this purpose, we organize regular transports so that your support is delivered to even the most remote places in Burkina Faso. To give you an idea which donation in kind we can use we have listed our needs briefly:

  • Means of transport, postal and logistics services
  • Tools
  • Office equipment such as servers, PCs, laptops and copiers
  • Software
  • Print products

Of course you can also ask us directly if you want to support our projects with a concrete donation in kind. We look forward to hearing from you!

Support and volunteer

Terra-Verde’s field of activity is varied, interesting and demanding. We are looking for riders for a fairer and ecologically intact world – would you like to actively contribute to the realization of our goals with commitment and expertise?

On voluntary work

With us your donation is quadrupled

Why your donation is an important lever

As a recognised non-profit association, we apply for further funds from public institutions such as the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the KfW. As a rule, a donation of 25 euros is turned into a grant of 100 euros.

The basis for this is the success of previous projects and the demonstrable necessity due to the demand from farmers.

Donations as supporting member

As a sustaining member you help us to plan aid projects in the long term with the incoming funds. This way we are quickly ready for action even in an emergency.

projects and measures described and ordered. Of course you can also simply send us a donation and we will use it where it is needed most. Our IDD experts will then ensure that your donation will benefit the cause for which you donate in the best possible way.
