It was unthinkable for the agricultural apprentice from Emmental at that time that my experience in development cooperation could unfold anew. My path as an agricultural economist led me via the management of globally operating agricultural companies into the crisis areas of development aid. In Asia and Africa, my work has always had a lot to do with responsibility and understanding foreign cultures. This has not changed in the last 15 years as a social entrepreneur in Burkina Faso, because I have grown very fond of the country and its people.
